Wagner & Co. unveils its newest line of SECUSOL systems designed as standalone appliances for domestic hot water preparation. Backed by an electrical heating element, the appliances can be used to immediately retrofit existing DHW heaters. SECUSOL is a nonpressurized hybrid drainback appliance that allows for the solar loop fluid to drain directly back into the heat exchanger coil, thus eliminating the need for a separate drainback tank to be installed. The appliance’s pump is directly mounted to the bottom of the heat exchanger, complete with safety group and shutoff/fill valves.
