Hill Mechanical Group and Ahern Fire Protection’s Chicago
office recently entered into a jointly owned partnership to provide fire
protection services to the greater Chicago area under the name of Hill/Ahern
Fire Protection. The company’s collaborative team increases value through
single-source contracting, in-house fabrication and 3D/BIM design.
Hill/Ahern Fire Protection’s daily operations will be led by Ahern’s current Chicago staff, who will relocate to Hill’s Franklin Park facility. The management team includes current Ahern District Manager Tim Turbak, Ahern Fire Protection Executive Vice President Ken Collins, and Hill Mechanical Vice President Jim Hill.
Ahern Fire Protection and its parent company, J. F. Ahern Co., continue to operate corporate and district offices in Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska.
