The 2007 Remodeling Show in Las Vegas featured more than 300 manufacturer exhibits and an expected attendance of 10,000 remodeling professionals.

The 2007 Remodeling Show moved to Las Vegas for the first time in its 16-year history. More than 300 manufacturers displayed a range of products for an expected attendance of 10,000 remodeling professionals.

The show runs Oct. 9-12, and includes more than 80 conference sessions and 100,000 square feet of floor space.

For the second year, the Kitchen & Bath Showcase was prominent on the exposition floor. The pavilion featured four separate demonstration areas for instructional presentations.

The Moen Rothbury Bath Suite delivers water at 1.5 gal/min by using a hidden aerator to control flow.

Among those manufacturers synergizing with the Kitchen & Bath theme was Moen, which launched the Rothbury Bath Suite, a line targeting the professional trade and not sold in the big box warehouses. The line includes faucets, showerheads, tub spouts and accessories.

According to Moen Product Manager Jerry Capasso, the Rothbury line features an upscale, cottage style design aimed at homeowners with traditional tastes. The line also helps qualify a building for LEED points by delivering water at 1.5 gal/min by using a hidden aerator to control flow.

Moen Target Market Manager Jean Munn said product launches are normally done at the International Builders Show or the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, but Moen wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to stand out this fall.

One innovative booth featured “Caulk-e-oke.” Henkle Corp. had Jennifer Joseph, Miss Nevada 1995, providing vocals while competing with contestants from the show floor. The promotion was designed to draw attention to its new Polyseamseal EST Speed Seal, which cures 12 times faster than traditional shower caulks, according to the company.

Panasonic's new WhisperGreen ventilation fans are energy efficient.

Panasonic showcased its new WhisperGreen single-speed ventilation fans, aimed at improving energy efficiency in homes while maintaining very low noise levels.

Grand Hall representative Lyndsey Forster touted the benefits of the Eternal Hybrid Water Heater.

Grand Hall, a relative newcomer to water heating, featured its Eternal brand hybrid water heater. Company representative Lyndsey Forster said a team of six engineers developed the heater to provide the benefits of an on-demand water heater while minimizing thermal shock.

Granitclad's Lawrence Zane shared the convenience of installing granite over existing countertops.

Granitclad provided alternatives to replacing entire counter tops with its Natural Granite Resurfacing line, that provide real granite on top of exiting counters.
