June 4, 2007 - PMI Names Shawn Martin New Technical Director
PMI has announced that Shawn Martin has
been named as its new technical director.
Barbara C. Higgens, executive director of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute, announced that Shawn Martin has been named PMI’s new technical director.
Martin comes to PMI from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center, Upper Marlboro, Md., where he has served since 2004 as director of applied technology. He has a strong background in water efficiency and in green building, both of which are very important to PMI.
He holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and will bring to the position research/lab experience as well as experience in interactive web training development.
Martin will be attending the PMI Technical Workshop in Schaumburg, Ill., on June 21 and 22, although his official start date will be July 9, 2007.
