EMCOR Records Reduction In Workplace Accidents
EMCOR Group recorded a 46 percent reduction in its Total Recordable Incident Rate since 2002, during a time when labor hours increased and recordable injuries decreased by 28 percent. Through the company's Safety and Quality Management Department, EMCOR began its Zero Accident Program that uses the combined strategy of visitation, communication and education throughout the company. CNA Insurance Co. recently recognized EMCOR for its program design and high level of safety performance.
