The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers reminds the industry that there is still time to submit projects for its 2006 Installation Contest. Any oil heat company may enter an installation project in one of the available categories:
  • New Construction with Oil
  • Oil Retrofits
  • Conversion from Another Fuel to Oil
Submissions in each category will be grouped into the appropriate class, based on the specs of the installation job. The classes are:
  • Residential (up to 3.00 gallons per hour)
  • Commercial (3.01 to 20 gph)
  • Industrial (20.01 gph and over)
A brief story about the highlighted job should accompany the submission, along with a maximum of five photos. Please include any obstacles that had to be overcome, as well as documentation of any energy savings and positive feedback from the customer. All information should be submitted to jgriffin@naohsm.org by April 7, 2006.

Winners will be judged by an independent panel of experts. All winners will be notified so that they have an opportunity to accept their awards at the annual Awards Banquet held during the NAOHSM Convention & Trade Show in Hartford, Conn., May 14-18.
