The Black & Decker Corp. has named Christopher T. Metz to the newly created position of president, North American Hardware and Home Improvement Group. Metz will oversee the operations of Price Pfister and Kwikset Corp., a maker of residential locksets.
Former Price Pfister President Les Ireland was promoted to president, Global Accessories for Black & Decker.
Mark A. Gold was promoted to vice president and general manager of Price Pfister. He had been the faucet maker's vice president of market since July 1999.
