MCAA past president Thomas F. Carty passed away on Jan. 6 in the Bronx, N.Y. He was 85.
Carty was president and owner of Carty Heating Corp. in New York City, which his father founded in 1915. He was also a World War II veteran, an attorney, real estate investor, and an apartment house owner in the New York City area.
