ISH North America has announced that the American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE), based in Westlake, Ohio, has agreed to become an endorser of the ISH North America show. This latest announcement now gives ISH NA a total of 20 leading associations and other industry organizations that are lending their names and marketing support to the event.

The American Society of Sanitary Engineering joins four other organizations this year to express their endorsement and cooperation in marketing the show to their memberships. Other recent additions included The American Backflow Prevention Association, World Plumbing Council, International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, and the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.

“ISH North America is very pleased that ASSE will now be active supporters of the show and its 2,000 members will be encouraged to attend the ISH North America trade show and seminars in Las Vegas. The show partners — ASA, CIPH, RPA and PHCC — welcome ASSE to ISH North America’s growing ‘family,’” stated Roland Bleinroth, president of Messe Frankfurt Inc.

ASSE and its membership is composed of contractors, engineers, inspectors, journeymen, apprentices and others from the plumbing industry. The society traces its roots back to 1906. One of ASSE’s fundamental principles is “Prevention Rather Than Cure,” which guides the group in the design of programs to educate the industry and the public on the importance and necessity of safe and correct plumbing installations.

ISH North America will be held Oct. 1-3, 2003, at the new Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas. More than 500 companies are expected to present their latest products and services. Show organizers expect a total of 15,000 attendees.
