Following months of searching and negotiating, the South Oakland County Chapter of Habitat For Humanity has acquired property in Southfield, Mich., to build a new home. The home is being co-sponsored by PM.

PM will document and participate in the construction process.

Local construction coordinator Dale Bjordahl said the home is seeking Habitat’s “Green Team” designation, which requires design and construction of an air-tight, energy efficient home. If your company manufactures, supplies or installs these kinds of products and you would like to participate, contact Tim Fausch at 248/244-6448 or via e-mail at FauschT@bnp.com.

At press time, the property was being surveyed and permits were being filed. A host family, required to provide 300 hours of “sweat equity,” has been selected.
