HydroMaid International Inc. has developed a dual-purpose atmospheric break, back-flow prevention and child-safety handle for its disposal. Distribution in the past has been hampered because of local plumbing regulations, but the new handle resolves those issues and makes the HydroMaid the first disposal to offer an on/off handle valve as an extra safety feature specifically designed with children in mind.
