This California-based pacific bell advertisement caused an uproar among local plumbing contractors in early February.
Manina Wassel, a representative of the PHCC in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, said Pacific Bell would not cancel the ad because it felt the ad was “reasonable.”
The Pacific Bell ad comes on the heels of a GTE Basic Voice Mail ad that called plumbers “rip-offs.” GTE pulled the ad in November after a week due to opposition from local plumbing contractors.
