Terry Peters has left the top spot of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association, leaving the group without a staff executive officer for the second time in less than 10 months.

In a briefly worded press release, the association explained that its Board of Directors "felt it was in the mutual interest of both parties to terminate their relationship." The release also stated that a search for a new executive vice president is under way.

Peters arrived at the association last August. He had more than 20 years experience running various trade groups, such as the National Association of Dental Laboratories; Society for Marketing Professional Services; and Associated Landscape Contractors of America.

Peters took over following the resignation of Allen Inlow, who left the PHCC last March.

In other news, the PHCC announced two new staff additions:

Harry Massey is the new executive director of the Professional Product Line. Massey will implement a new marketing campaign for the PPL.

Lake A. Coulson is the new government relations director. Coulson was formerly director of legislative and regulatory affairs for the Air Conditioning Refrigeration Institute.
