Home » American Standard Reports Second Quarter Earnings
American Standard Cos. Inc. announced second quarter earnings of $1.63 per diluted share, up 10 percent from $1.48 a year ago. Net income increased 11 percent. Revenues were $2.04 billion. Plumbing product sales were $464 million, down 3 percent. Record faucet sales lessened the impact of softer market conditions in Europe and higher energy costs.
During the quarter, Home Depot selected American Standard as the primary supplier of whirlpool baths for its stores, which is expected to double current whirlpool sales.
