Carrier debuted a new home comfort system with four HVAC solutions at the International Builders’ Show. Designed to deliver energy efficiency, connectivity and streamlined installation, the new lineup aims to empower homeowners and contractors with smarter performance and an intuitive experience. The system launch includes a redesigned air handler, a high-efficiency variable-speed heat pump, and two new smart thermostats. The units feature adaptive controls, over-the-air updates and InteliSenseTM remote diagnostics.

The next-gen Performance Series Air Handler introduces a compact design that is 20% shorter and about 50 pounds lighter than previous models. Its 25-speed operation and mixed-flow fan help maintain even temperatures while aiming to reduce energy use. InteliSense technology enables remote monitoring and advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance is simplified with a standard 1-inch filter, LED status display and sight glass. Built in Near Field Communication (NFC) allows technicians to set up and service the unit with a tap of their phone using the Carrier Service Tech app. Installers can also save their preferred configuration settings and instantly reuse them across multiple units, making multi housing or multi-unit setups faster and more consistent. Carrier is also introducing a new line of smart thermostats featuring InteliSense technology.
