Schaltbau Eddicy R300 high-voltage relay
The high-voltage relay is compact and capable of switching currents up to 25 A.

Schaltbau announced the launch of its Eddicy R300 high-voltage relay. It is engineered to withstand voltages up to 10,000 V, capable of safely switching currents up to 25 A, comes in single- and double-pole configurations and features a space-saving design. Its large contact pills ensure low contact resistance, minimizing heat generation and reducing the risk of contact welding. The double contact bridge design provides improved arc extinguishing performance. With a making capacity of up to 200 A, the relay is engineered for long-term durability even under tough operating conditions. An integrated economizer circuit keeps pull-in power consumption below 12 W, enabling direct control with a programmable logic controller (PLC), lowering operating costs and thermal stress while extending service life.
The R300 is designed for a wide range of high-voltage and safety-critical applications. In testing environments, it supports HiPot, insulation, PE conductor and leakage current testing, ensuring reliable and repeatable results. In power electronics, it serves as a pre-charge relay in converter systems, and as a relay for switching measuring points. Unlike competing products, the R300 is a ready-to-use solution, with all necessary components included.
