IAPMO is seeking volunteers to participate on two technical committees working toward the development of the 2024 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC).

The 2017 Water Efficiency and Sanitation Standard (WE•Stand) was the culmination of a 10-year effort to develop codified water-efficiency provisions that would result in a 20% reduction in water use from the minimum code requirements contained in the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).
The Division of Codes and Standards, which is part of the state’s Department of Community Affairs, adopted the NSPC with state-specific amendments on Sept. 3.
