Solar product manufacturer EnerWorks has been awarded the IAPMO’s Uniform Solar Energy Code listing for its residential solar water heating appliances.

Solar product manufacturer EnerWorks has been awarded the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ Uniform Solar Energy Code listing for its residential solar water heating appliances.

IAPMO provides code development assistance, education and quality assurance programs, including the USEC, which regulates the use of solar energy in plumbing and mechanical systems. It applies to the building, installation, alteration, addition, repair, relocation, replacement and use or maintenance of solar systems. USEC is intended to provide a safe and functional solar energy system with minimum regulations.
