2019 Ford Transit Connect earns top fuel-efficiency ratings
Ford also set to release 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel model with estimated 30 mpg highway
The 2019 Transit Connect has earned EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 24 mpg city, 29 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined. These EPA-estimated highway and combined fuel economy ratings are the best in its class for gas-engine-powered vans.
Transit Connect Passenger Wagon’s fuel economy ratings come via a new 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline direct injection engine with Auto Start-Stop paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission — for responsive around-town performance and low-rpm highway cruising.
