BrassCraft announces a billion water stops milestone

BrassCraft Manufacturing has sold a record-setting 1,000,000,000 water stops.

October 30, 2013

Brasscraft Manufacturing is celebrating a company milestone by selling a record 1,000,000,000 water stops — all currently in use. From the introduction of the one-piece stop to the most recent addition of the push connect technology line of water stops, BrassCraft has a stop for every plumbing professional’s needs.

BrassCraft Manufacturing has sold a record-setting 1,000,000,000 water stops.

“All BrassCraft stops are designed, machined and assembled in the USA for longevity, consistently exceeding industry measures while offering superior performance”, said Krisztina Wilson, water supplies product manager. “No other company matches our performance in the marketplace.”

Brasscraft’s water stops product line includes: the multi-turn stop, the industry standard with proven performance; the KT Series of 1/4 turn stops, first in its class with a ball stop design; and the G2 Series of 1/4 turn stops, featuring a machined one-piece brass body providing strength, durability and long-lasting performance. All BrassCraft water stops are 100% leak tested.

BrassCraft offers lead-free compliant products

The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act prohibits the sale of plumbing fixtures with a wetted surface area containing more than a weighted average of 0.25% lead. This law virtually eliminates the lead content of pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fittings and fixtures intended to convey or dispense water for drinking or cooking.

BrassCraft Manufacturing offers plumbers an extensive selection of compliant products including a comprehensive range of no-lead compliant products including brass stops, braided water connectors, water heater connectors and fittings. Each product has packaging that displays a checkmark to designate 100% compliance.
