The Electric Consumers Power to Choose Act, H.R. 2050, will become the focus of a deregulation debate in the House of Representatives. However, supporters feel that the fair competition provisions in the bill need to be expanded to include contractors' concerns since it currently pertains only to the sale of electricity.
