Selkirk Americas has been purchased by Tomkins PLC, a global engineering and manufacturing group. Selkirk will operate as a separate company within Tomkins' Building Products Division and retain its current structure, according to a letter from Selkirk CEO Brooks Sherman. It will offer all its current brands, and the sales force and customer service personnel will remain unchanged.

In other news, Selkirk Canada announced a partnership with RSR Home Comfort Products, where RSR will distribute SuperPro Chimney and related Selkirk Canada product lines in Ontario.
