Dormont Manufacturing introduced a safety and compliance training program in response to recent standards changes regarding commercial cooking appliances. The program, called “Safety Through Mobility!” is available to all professionals who sell, install, use or service moveable gas connectors in commercial kitchens. The purpose of the program is to educate professionals about the new code change, as well as appliance mobility and how it can prevent kitchen-related code violations, fires and food contamination.
To join the program, users can log onto Dormont's Web site below to register. Subscribers can receive free “Safety Through Mobility!” guides on codes and standards, as well as gas connector installation and maintenance. Other support material such as posters, counter mats, stickers, magnets and “Mobility Matters” information sheets are also available.
