Honeywell recently acquired privately held Aube Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of line volt thermostats based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Aube's products and 60 employees will be part of the Honeywell North American Homes business.

In other news, Honeywell Commercial Air Products introduced a new distributor class, Health and Critical Environments, which will represent six categories of products for various commercial environments requiring cleaner air.
