John Engelberger, P.E., president of Enerjee Inc., died Feb. 28 of cancer in Morrisville, Pa. He was 72. Engelberger received his BSME from Drexel University, and attended Columbia University for post-graduate studies. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and retired as a Lt. Commander from the Coast Guard Reserve. He established the USS Liberty Memorial in Morrisville with his own money. In recognition of his years of public service, the Morrisville Borough designated the week of Jan. 26, 2003, as John Engelberger Week.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, as well as his sister, a nephew, two nieces and a grand-niece.
