On the whole, showroom merchandising is a role that has largely bypassed plumbing contractors. Reasons aren’t too mysterious. Although the products may be familiar, it’s a completely different business than anything they are used to — and even some of the products aren’t all that familiar, what with all the high-end emphasis.
Yet, is there anyone better positioned than a plumbing contractor to operate a successful bath showroom? Why should contractors concede this market to designers who, while talented at what they do, are often clueless when it comes to plumbing fundamentals?
