J-M Manufacturing Co. (Livingston, N.J.) and PW Eagle (Eugene, Ore.), makers of plastic pipe, fittings and tubing products, announced that the two companies have signed a merger agreement under which J-M Manufacturing will acquire all of the outstanding common shares of PW Eagle for $33.50 per share in cash. The transaction represents an implied total equity value of nearly $400 million, and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.
