Estimation celebrates its 30th business anniversary this month with the start of 2003.

Estimation, a TradePower Solution, began its technology career in the construction industry in 1973. The company will celebrate its 30th business anniversary with the start of 2003.

Founded by the late George M. Llewellyn, Estimation provides its estimating system and PowerPRO Purchasing system for the construction trades. The company's first estimating system, TEK Unit, was created in 1973. It was the first in the industry.

Under its current vice president of contractor solutions, Alan T. Mech, Estimation continues to grow within the industry, and has set the stage for future anniversaries. Alan attributes Estimation's success to its clients and the support they've shown over the past three decades.

"By involving users in product enhancement and maintaining strong ties to industry trade associations, we have been able to offer top quality products for 30 years," Mech says.

The next generation of Estimation software, NET Series Version 10, will be released at the 12th annual Estimation User Conference April 6-9 in Baltimore, Md. For more information on Estimation conferences and products call 800/275-6475.
