Thermostatic water mixing valve manufacturer Leonard Valve Co. announced the promotion of E. Niles Wilcox to president. Wilcox most recently served as vice president and general manager, concentrating on the manufacturing and production end of Leonard's business.

"I'm proud to continue the legacy of this family-owned company, which my father took control of in 1954," said Wilcox in the announcement.

Wilcox's brother and outgoing president Greg Wilcox, who will continue to work as a consultant for Leonard, agrees that the family-owned company holds strong advantages in the industry.

"We're able to make decisions and react quickly to what the market needs, and we've brought to market the highest quality plumbing products. Both of these factors have enabled us to stay ahead of the competition," he said.
