Mestek Institute, in conjunction with Hydrotherm Boilers, RBI Water Heaters and Smith Cast Iron Boilers, will provide system-specific hands-on and classroom training on topics including system design, venting, controls, combustion and start-up procedures.

Last July, the company announced its partnership with Pipeline Development Co., a leading HVAC training provider. This year’s seminars are free, and will include three days of training with some of the industry’s most knowledgeable instructors. Attendees will leave the seminars with the knowledge to ensure higher system efficiency and lower operating costs. In addition, a full day of training with Pipeline Development Co. on non-biased system design and operation will provide attendees eight continuing education (CE) credits at no cost.

“This is a great opportunity for HVAC professionals to get a better understanding of today’s high-efficiency boiler systems,” stated Matt Kleszczynski in the training announcement. Kleszczynski is marketing manager for the Mestek Boiler Group.

Seminars will be held in one of two Mestek Institute sites located in Boyertown, Pa., and Mississauga, Canada. Classes for 2009 are being offered on the following dates:
    April 21 – 23 (Boyertown, PA)
    June 6 – 4 (Mississauga, Canada)
    June 23 – 25 (Boyertown, PA)
    July 1 – 3 (Mississauga, Canada)
    Aug. 25 – 27 (Boyertown, PA)
    Sept. 22 – 24 (Mississauga, Canada)
    Oct. 20 – 22 (Boyertown, PA)
