The 2006 Radiant Flooring Guide, a joint venture by the Radiant Panel Association and BNP Media, was recently presented a 2006 APEX Award for Publication Excellence in the Magazines & Journals — Print Four-Color category. APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and success of the entry — in the judges’ opinions — in communicating effectively.

A total of 4,756 entries were evaluated, including 796 entries in the Magazines & Journals category. A total of 105 APEX Grand Awards were presented in 11 major categories, and 1,434 APEX Awards of Excellence were presented in 102 individual categories. The awards program is sponsored by Communication Concepts Inc., a publishing, public relations and marketing consulting firm.

The Radiant Flooring Guide is the only annual publication that provides detailed articles on how to match various floor covering and subflooring materials with radiant heating systems.
