The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling
Contractors Educational Foundation (PHCC) recently announced the winners of
2010 scholarships awarded through the Educational Foundation. Four
students were awarded a total of $9,000 in scholarships funded by the Foundation
and its industry partners.
Steven
Beetz of St. Louis, Mo. has been awarded the
2010 Charles F. Hiley Memorial Scholarship, a $2,500 award funded by the PHCC
Educational Foundation and the South Jersey Mechanical Contractors
Association. Beetz is enrolled at Missouri University
of Science & Technology pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical
Engineering.
William
Andrew Kibler of Winston-Salem,
N.C., will receive a $1,500 scholarship funded by the PHCC Educational
Foundation. He is enrolled at Appalachian State University pursuing a four-year
degree in Construction Management.
Jarad
DeWolfe of Boylston, Mass.,
has been awarded a $2,500 scholarship funded by the PHCC Past National
Officers. DeWolfe is enrolled at Flagler
College pursuing a
four-year degree in Business Administration/Management.
Jonathan
Macone of Stoneham, Mass., will receive a
$2,500 scholarship funded by the PHCC Auxiliary of Massachusetts and the PHCC
Educational Foundation. Macone is enrolled at Curry College
to pursue a four-year degree in Business Management.
Eleven
additional students will receive 2010 scholarships thanks to more than $27,000
in funding provided by A.O. Smith Water
Heaters, Bradford White Water Heaters and Delta Faucet Co. The
winners of these awards will be announced at a later date.
