T&S Brass received the 2009 InnoVision Technology Award in the category of sustainability for the development of the water-conserving B-0108 spray valve. InnoVision is the premier awards program focused exclusively on celebrating achievements in innovation and technological excellence in the South Carolina Upstate region.

The company’s sustainability award recognizes it for developing and engineering the B-0108 spray valve, which helps facilities significantly reduce water consumption. At 1.2 gpm, the valve can save thousands of gallons of water per year compared to a 1.6 gpm federal limit valve (based on five hours of use per day at 60 psi).

Designed for sustainability, the B-0108 is EPAct 2005 compliant, endorsed by the Green Restaurant Association, and can help towards receiving credits for LEED certification through water savings. Additionally, T&S Brass recently released the new B-0108-C spray valve, which saves even more water by operating at 0.65 gpm.
