The Fair Access to Indemnity and Reimbursement Act (H.R. 1987) was approved for general debate by the House Rules Committee. The bill would allow employers and labor unions to recover legal fees if they prevail in judicial or administrative actions brought against them by OSHA. Employers and unions with no more than 100 employees and a net worth up to $7 million would be eligible.
