Canadian retail complex to be largest geothermal site in North America

The Seasons of Tuxedo retail complex to be built in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, will be served by one of the largest geothermal heating and cooling systems in North America, reports the Winnipeg Free Press. A partner in the firm that has already installed much of the infrastructure for the project's geothermal heating and cooling said higher construction costs can be offset by lower energy costs to tenants within eight years.
