The Concord Monitor reports that a $7.85 renovation for Concord, N.H.’s Main Street may include a plan to use the city’s network of old steam pipes and to install piping under the pavement that would use the 90-degree water returning to the power plant from downtown buildings to melt the snow and ice on the street.
