has approved a 5% blend of biodiesel in heating oil through the efforts of NORA,

Biodiesel Board and oilheat manufacturers led by R.W. Beckett.

John Huber of NORA stated that "bioheat provides a critical opportunity for the oilheat industry to reposition itself as the green renewable fuel of the future, and that knocking down regulatory barriers was essential."
