FL Governor Undergoes Energy Audit
May 1, 2007
In early April, experts checked the Florida
governor’s mansion for energy efficiency. Gov. Charlie Crist told the Tampa Tribune
that his goal is much bigger.
“I want our state to look more to solar, more to wind, more to nuclear,” he said. “If we can have a million solar roofs - I think that’s a great idea.” The average monthly energy bill for the mansion is between $3,000 and $6,000, according to staff.
