Bell & Gossett Donates Pump To UNL

The construction management students at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln needed a large centrifugal pump for hands-on training, and ITT Corp.’s Bell & Gossett answered their call.

The construction management students at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln needed a large centrifugal pump for hands-on training, and ITT Corp.’s Bell & Gossett answered their call with a B&G Series VSC, double-suction, vertical split-case pump.

Student volunteers helped set the pump in place in the UNL HVAC lab. Tim Wentz, UNL department associate professor, noted that the VSC demo has a cutaway volute to show inner components. His students will plot out performance and efficiency, and understand the advantages of VSC pumps.
