Quick Drain USA, manufacturer of stainless-steel linear slot drain systems, was specified and installed in all bathroom showers for the Mandarin Oriental Tower at City Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
The company’s thin, PMG- and UPC-listed channel drain system can be placed anywhere in the design scheme for aesthetically pleasing installations. Collection comes in nine standard sizes, replaces traditional round center drains for uninterrupted tile designs, all while increasing speed of installation by only needing to pitch the mortar bed for the shower pan one time, in one direction for proper drainage.
The Mandarin Oriental Tower, part of the $11 billion CityCenter mixed-use development on the Las Vegas strip, is a 47-story luxury hotel/residence at the forefront of the property. The Mandarin features 400 hotel rooms and 227 condos for purchasing. CityCenter aims to be one of the world’s largest environmentally sustainable developments to achieve LEED certification.
