Green Mechanical Council Elects New Board

The Green Mechanical Council has elected a new board of directors to serve a one-year term: Chairman Jerry Weiss, executive director of HVAC Excellence; Vice Chairman Steven H. Allen, administrator of HVACR education and recruitment for the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada; Treasurer Tom Crandell, director of the Corporate & Professional Development Center at Ferris State University; Secretary Walter Jann, executive vice president of Legend Valve; Director Dan Chiles, vice president of marketing for Watts Radiant; Director Scott Berger, owner of mechanical service contractor Arista; and Director Michael Senter, chief executive officer of ABCO Refrigeration Supply Corp.

In other news, combustion analysis instrumentation manufacturer Bacharach Inc. has become a member of the council.
