American Standard Launches New High-Efficiency Boiler Line

American Standard Heating and Air announced it has returned to its roots and is introducing new premium noncondensing oil- and gas-fired cast-iron water boilers. The new oil-fired boilers have a unique three-pass cast-iron heat exchanger, designed to resist thermal stress, maximize heat transfer and deliver Energy Star®-qualified efficiency performance with up to 86.7 percent AFUE. A customized Riello burner is finely tuned to optimize combustion.

The American Standard gas-fired boilers have single-pass design, maximizing heat transfer and fuel efficiency up to 84.3 percent AFUE for direct vent and 83.6 percent AFUE for natural draft models.  The stainless-steel tubular burner resists corrosion for long life and delivers optimal combustion.
