Overall Union Membership Slide Continues

The Construction Labor Research Council (CLRC) reported that the overall union membership rate among craft workers in the construction industry was 16.7 percent in 2006, continuing a downward trend from 1999, and the union membership rate of all workers in the construction industry was at 13.6 percent.
