Development Of Document Standard: AGC

The Associated General Contractors of America and the National Institute of Building Sciences have agreed to develop AGCxml, a document exchange standard for the construction industry. AGCxml is intended to facilitate the reliable, electronic exchange of business-to-business transactional data created by design professionals, owners and contractors in every design and construction project, and found in such documents as owner/contractor agreements, change orders and requests for information.
