Jacuzzi Makes A Splash In 'Flushed Away'

A dip in the “Jacuzzi” takes on a whole new meaning in the smash computer-animated adventure film “Flushed Away.” It was an actual Jacuzzi-brand toilet that was selected to serve as the model for the one in the movie and is promised to be a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub by the lead pet mouse character, Roddy, as he schemes to lure his nemesis, Sid, a lowly sewer rat, into the swirling waters for a relaxing bath.

“When the film’s producers came to us,” explained Melissa Gosling, Jacuzzi marketing director, “it was with a unique opportunity to portray not only our world-famous Jacuzzi-brand whirlpool tubs, but also gain exposure for the range of other luxury bathroom fixtures we create, including toilets and lavatories.”
