Jacuzzi Consolidates U.K. Bath Products Plants

Jacuzzi Brands announced it would consolidate its Bradford, United Kingdom-based ceramics production into its Newcastle-Under-Lyme facility and its outsourcing partners. The Bradford facilities manufacture bath products including shower enclosures, sanitary ware and acrylic baths; about 100 employees will be affected. Costs of this consolidation, which is to be completed by fiscal year's end, are expected to be $3.1 million.
