Tyco Approved

Tyco Fire & Building Products announced its Ultra K-17 Control Mode Sprinkler with a 16.8 K factor has been approved by Factory Mutual for use in cold storage applications without the need for in-rack sprinklers. Approved to protect both Class 1 and Class 2 commodities, it replaces large drop sprinklers and includes a larger maximum design space of 40,000 sq. ft. instead of the previously recommended 10,000 sq. ft.
