Industry Web Sites
April 1, 2007
Web site updates and new launches in the industry.
The Mechanical Service Contractors of America
has launched a Web site dedicated to Project Home Again, its missing children
community relations program. Through Project Home Again, participating member
contractors display magnetic posters of missing children on their service
vehicles. The site ( www.projecthomeagain.com)
provides background information on the program, a list of participating
contractors, media information and important links and contacts.
Keltech Inc., maker of
tankless water heaters, launched its Web site -
www.keltech-inc.com. The site has a product selection guide,
downloadable product spec sheets, and a request a quote form.
State
Water Heaters, the 2007 primary sponsor of the
Morgan-McClure Motorsports No. 4 Chevy, launched www.stateracing.com
to provide race fans with information about driver Ward
Burton, 2007 Nextel Cup schedules, State Racing merchandise and
more.
Helmuts-to-Hardhats, the military recruitment program for high-skilled trades in the construction industry, is teaming up with Monster.com to broaden its reach and scope. Monster Government Solutions, which has developed technology for many successful
government programs such as USAJOBS, powered the technology behind the Helmets
to Hardhats Web Site, while Military.com, which operates the largest online
military community on the Web with more than eight million members, lent its
military expertise and resources. Both are part of Monster Worldwide.
The Helmets to Hardhats program is jointly sponsored by the fifteen unions of the Building and Construction Trades and their signatory Construction Industry Employer Associations (www.bctd.org).
