Amcast Restructures Debt

Amcast Industrial Corp., parent of Lee Brass Co. a brass fitting manufacturer for plumbing markets, announced it will continue operations after restructuring its debt and reducing it by approximately $30 million. The company and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
