Kohler’s Touchless toilet technology allows users to flush using a sensor instead of the traditional flush lever. Holding a hand over the tank lid directly above the sensor actuates the flush. It is available in the Cimarron toilet as well as a retrofit kit. The sensor utilizes emerging sensing technology, which projects an electromagnetic field and detects the user in the projected field and initiates the flush. The sensor runs on four AA alkaline batteries, included, which last on average six to 12 months.
